MARK GWINNET

POSITION: Manufacturing Director

YEARS SERVICE: 33

CAREER:

I began my career in 1985 when I joined IAC, after completing my first year of off-the-job training, I developed my skills as a Toolmaker and Press Setter. After several years I joined Quadrant Tube, now SACO in 1992.

I was promoted to Toolroom Supervisor in 1995, overseeing the press shop and assembly operations. In 2002, as the business grew, we expanded the management structure to strengthen both the toolroom and press shop and I became Toolroom Manager.

In 2011, I was given the opportunity to become a director and since then I’ve helped lead significant investments, including the introduction of a second anodising line, the acquisition of several facilities and the expansion of the business through new ventures.

JACK MULLIGAN

POSITION: Training Manager

YEARS SERVICE: 6
CAREER:

I began my apprenticeship in 2018, working towards my NVQ level 3 diploma to specialise as a Tool and Die technician.

Following the completion of my apprenticeship in early 2022, the opportunity to progress to Toolroom Training Supervisor arose. My responsibilities shifted from tooling production, to the training and recruitment of apprentices within my department. Though the remainder of 2022 and 2023, I continued to work within my department, developing and delivering training material, alongside branching into aspects of the training in other departments.

Due to the larger scope of the areas covered, at the start of 2024, I became the Training Manager. My aims are now set to continue to develop the quality training across SACO and the Lendlock group.

ROCHELLE BARRON

POSITION: Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer

YEARS SERVICE: 3
CAREER:

I began my apprenticeship in 2019 at another company, training as a Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer. However, due to limited opportunities, I decided to seek a new path.

In the summer of 2022, I joined SACO – a decision that proved to be the best one yet. Here, I’ve gained invaluable skills and knowledge in my chosen field while becoming part of a supportive team where I feel truly valued.
